Bollywood Fever Takes Over Lost Film Society’s First Ever Rooftop Cinema in Croydon with Queen, Di Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani
CINEMA GOERS WILL BE TREATED TO AN IMMERSIVE BOLLYWOOD EXPERIENCE FOR ONE WEEK ONLY THIS JUNE
BOLLYWOOD FEVER returns in 2016 to take over the audacious rooftop cinema and bar space ‘Lost Format Society’ for one week only.
From June 2nd- 5th, BOLLYWOOD FEVER will be back and taking to the skies, presented in an open-air cinema experience on the rooftops of Croydon overlooking the stunning South London skyline. Screenings will run over four nights with a line-up that will capture the very best of Bollywood, from the tear-jerking melodrama to the eye-catching dance sequences. Be prepared for your cinema experience to be enhanced with the flavours of Bollywood as performers entertain and the aromas of desi style street foods fill the air.
In May 2015, BOLLYWOOD FEVER took over OXO Tower Wharf, becoming the most talked about and celebrated platform for Bollywood film in London. The venue – Bargehouse – became the pop up home for fans of Bollywood solidifying the event as the premiere Bollywood experience for the year.
Now BOLLYWOOD FEVER is back as part of the highly successful rooftop cinema experience ‘Lost Format Society’ that is running throughout the Summer in the heart of Croydon. Cinema goers will be treated to the very best Bollywood blockbusters, presented using the latest HD projector technology on a custom built 4m wide screen.

Adding to the immersive experience, film lovers can enjoy the tantalising aroma of street food – desi style from the superb onsite food vendor, plus music, dance, mehndi culminating in the watching a movie under the stars.
So as the sun sets, attendees will be invited to settle in to their own individual deck chair with a pair of wireless headphones and a warm tub of popcorn before losing themselves in the viewing enjoyment of some of Bollywood’s greatest cinema.
