Bonjovi performs live at NYC Rockerfella Centre

12 November 2010

OK, so we know he's mostly a singer but he's also an actor plus we here at The Fan Carpet are big big fans so he get's some spash here in our news...

Bon Jovi proved this morning why they are still going strong after 27 years of being one of the worlds most successful pop/rock acts.

The Rock Gods stepped out into the chilly new York air on the Today Show this morning to play a tribute gig in honour of all their fans, and to promote their new album, chilly New York City morning, Bon Jovi Greatest Hits. They even let the fans vote to pick there choice of song for Bon Jovi to perform, and You Give Love a Bad Name was the winner.

Bon Jovi have also recently been nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame and were also recently voted to receive the first "Global Icon" award at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

The group will also start their world tour and are planning on playing in 55 countries. But as Bon Jovi only knows judging by this mornings performance, they wouldn't be anywhere without the fans, something we only know too well here at The Fan Carpet.
