Brad Pitt Returns to World War 2 In Tights
Hollywood superstar Pitt is to don tights to play a futuristic superhero in the film version of the video game Dark Void, which is launched Friday 22nd January.
Pitt recently played the avenging hero in the Quentin Tarantino film ‘Inglorious Basterds’, in which American Jewish GIs in German-occupied Europe plot to kill Nazis.
Dark Void sees Pitt return to World War II playing fighter pilot Will who crash lands in the Bermuda Triangle and finds a world of aliens battling to take over civilisation. Strapping on a jet pack, Will becomes the rocketeer leading human survivors to final victory.
"Dark Void is a rip-roaring epic science fiction tale that grips gamers from start to finish - it's no surprise that the game has appealed to Brad Pitt.
"The hero of Dark Void is very much in the mould of some of Brad Pitt's best known characters - handsome, suave, brave, and of course, good in a fight," said Stuart Turner from Capcom.
Dark Void is released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 22 January.
