Bryan Cranston praises Tom Cruise’s dedication to Rock of Ages

Sought after talent Bryan Cranston, famed for television favourites Malcolm in the Middle and Breaking Bad and films including Drive, Larry Crowne and Contagion has praised his co star Tom Cruise for his dedication to Rock of Ages.

Cranston who is lending his voice to a Siberian Tiger in Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted tells Access Hollywood "I don't think there's any harder working actor in Hollywood than Tom Cruise, he's a lovely guy and he's astonishing in this role."

Cranston also believes that Cruise will be the standout of the film with his role of Stacee Jaxx the lead singer of fictional heavy metal band Arsenal adding "I look at that character that he portrays and I don't see Tom Cruise. He has taken over this guy."

Cranston returns to cinemas with the March 9 release of John Carter alongside Taylor Kitsch which is followed by the June 8 release of Rock of Ages with Malin Akerman, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, Russell Brand, Will Forte and Julianne Hough as fish out of water Sherrie Christian.
