Bryan Singer reveals how Quicksilver’s powers will be achieved for X-Men: Days of Future Past

Acclaimed filmmaker Bryan Singer has revealed how Quicksilver's powers will be achieved in the forthcoming X-Men sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Taking to Twitter, Singer confirmed that some sequences involving the speedy mutant will be shot at 3,600 frames per second, approximately 150 times slower than standard film photography.

Pietro Maximoff is the son of Magneto will be portrayed by Evan Peters in the superhero ensemble that will feature Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Lucas Till, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Booboo Stewart, Fan Bingbing and Adan Canto.

Both Fox and Marvel Studios have access to the character due to his affiliation with both the Avengers and the X-Men.

Kick-Ass franchise hero Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been strongly linked with the role in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
