Captain America: Civil War Directors Joe and Anthony Russo want to make a Black Widow film with Scarlett Johansson

Just last week, fan favourite Actor Clark Gregg who heads Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D endorsed the idea of a Black Widow film Captain America: Civil War directors Anthony and Joe Russo has said that they want to direct it!

Johansson wants one too and whilst promoting Captain America: Civil War in China, the directors gave their thoughts saying "Hell yeah! We love that character!"

Anthony added "And we love Scarlett!"

"We find that the character is one of, if not the richest character in the Marvel universe, a very complex character, haunted by demons, and her understanding of the world is fascinating. I think there is a lot that can be done with that character." added Joe.

Captain America: Civil War hits Cinemas on April 29 and features the ensemble cast of Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo, Jeremy Renner, Leslie Bibb, Marisa Tomei, Martin Freeman, Paul Bettany, Paul Rudd, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, William Hurt, Daniel Brühl and Tom Holland.
