Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s Anthony Mackie hopeful for his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Anthony Mackie who was one of the stand out performances in last year's epic Captain America: The Winter Soldier has expressed his desire to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with this year's release of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Speaking to I Am Rogue, Mackie said when asked if he’ll be involved with Joss Whedon’s sequel "I hope. At this point, I have not. I hope, I hope, I hope, I hope. They're doing reshoots and that's why I'm letting them know I'm available. So whatever weekend they want me there, I'll fly myself out and shoot whatever scene they want me in. Even if it's like, 'Oh man, it's Iron Man and Hulk.' But I heard today in one of the interviews that someone thought I was in Ant-Man. I hope so! I hope I'm in Ant-Man. I hope I'm in Hulk 3, I hope I'm in Thor 3, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Me and Groot can boogie!"
In Marvel Comics lore, Sam Wilson aka Falcon has a crimson costume as well as a feathered friend by the name of Redwing, a highly trained Falcon, the bird was noticeable absent from Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Mackie has made it known to Marvel that he wants the feathery sidekick, explaining "I want my bird, man. I want my bird! The thing is, you know I've been emailing with people over at Marvel. Im putting it out there in the ethos that I'm going to have a new and improved costume and come out all flashy in spandex."
Mackie currently has John Hillcoat's Triple Nine in post production where he stars alongside Aaron Paul and returns as Falcon in 2016's Captain America: Civil War from Anthony and Joe Russo.
