Casey Affleck to reunite with Ain’t The Bodies Saints director David Lowery for To Be Two
While his brother will be the next actor to don the cape and cowl, Casey Affleck will reunite with Ain't Them Bodies Saints director David Lowery for new sci-fi flick To Be Two.
The Hollywood Reporter report that Lowery has closed a deal to adapt a short story from Paul Broks's collection Into the Silent Land: Travels in Neuropsychology with To Be Two centring around a future in which transportation technology is commonplace, creating copies of people in distant locations while vaporising the original.
When a machine malfunctions, the original is not destroyed, leaving a man to face issues of identity when he comes face-to-face with his exact copy.
To Be Two is said to be tonally similar to the Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt starring Looper which saw both actors play the same man from different periods in time.
Affleck's Ain't Them Bodies Saints is playing in the US now and opens in the UK on September 6 featuring Rooney Mara, Ben Foster, Rami Malek and Keith Carradine.
