Charlie’s Angels babe Minka Kelly manipulated bad guy growing up
The Roommate bombshell Minka Kelly who stars in the revitalised Charlie's Angels has revealed that she perfected acting by growing up manipulating her stripper mum's "bad guy" boyfriend.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine the rising star said "You learn how to manipulate people into taking care of you, so that they don't hit you... You speak with a little baby voice... I called him Dad for a long time. He had, like, five kids with five different women. He was a bad guy."
Kelly recently revealed she had a complicated relationship with her late mother Maureen, who acted more like a friend than a parent and the relationship was tested when they moved to New Mexico and moved in with a man who sold tamales out of a truck.
Kelly has enjoyed an exciting career on both television and film with roles in What I Like About You, Friday Night Lights, Just Go with It, Parenthood and as well as Charlie's Angels she'll be seen in Searching for Sonny, the mystery comedy from Andrew Disney.
