Chris Pratt is overcome with joy at Jurassic World response

With Jurassic World sitting comfortably at the top of the UK and US Box Office, Chris Pratt, who stars as Owen, the Velociraptor trainer has said he feels "overcome with joy" at the warm response to his new film.
Taking to Facebook, the Guardians of the Galaxy hero expressed his appreciation on behalf of everyone involved in the film posting "On behalf of everyone involved in the making of #JurassicWorld, and believe me there are thousands of us, I want to say thank you.
It feels so wonderful to hear the overwhelmingly positive response. We are incredibly blessed and overcome with joy at the outcome of the movie and couldn't be more appreciative for the amazing support you've shown so far.
This is bigger than all of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
The fourth instalment in the Jurassic Park series has received a mostly positive response from critics.
The film acts as a direct sequel to Jurassic Park and sees Pratt's character lead a rescue mission for tourists trapped in Jurassic World after a genetically modified dinosaur goes on a rampage.
Director Colin Trevorrow has revealed he won't be directing any Jurassic World sequels that may arise in the future, saying that different directors bring fresh ideas to franchises.
Pratt returns to cinemas with The Magnificent Seven from filmmaker Antoine Fuqua which is due to hit cinemas on January 13 2017 alongside Vincent D'Onofrio, Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke and James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy 2 with Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan which is scheduled for release on April 28 2017.
