Cillian Murphy reunites with Christopher Nolan for the Fifth time with War Time epic Dunkirk
They worked together on Inception and The Dark Knight trilogy, and word is that Cillian Murphy who was last seen in Ron Howard's In the Heart of the Sea and Christopher Nolan are set to reunite for Dunkirk, marking their fifth collaboration!
The Wrap report that Murphy has joined the ensemble cast and is understood to be playing a supporting role alongside Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Brannagh.
Rounding out the cast is newcomer Fionn Whitehead, British actors Jack Lowden and Aneurin Barnard, and One Direction singer Harry Styles.
Written by Nolan, Dunkirk is set during the British evacuation of that city through Operation Dynamo, saving the lives of around 330,000 Allied soldiers.
Due for release worldwide on July 21 next year and will be Produced by Emma Thomas alongside her husband, with Production set to begin next month.
Murphy has Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire, Sean Ellis’ Anthropoid and Beeban Kidron’s Hippie Hippie Shake ready for release.
