Cinderella babe Lily James speaks out about small waist criticism

Cinderella opens at the end of the month, and the gorgeous young actress Lily James of Downton Abbey and Fast Girls fame has spoken out about the claims that CGI was used on her body in post to give her a small waist.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, the actress said that the media interest in her waist size is "hypocritical" and "so negative" saying "I naturally have a really small waist. The skirt's big and the corset pulls me in, and that's the point. That's the shape [costume designer] Sandy Powell created.

I think it's all very hypocritical, and they contradict themselves, and they're drawing more attention to it. I think all that stuff's so negative, and you've got to let it wash over your head.

I'm so healthy. I've got hips and boobs and a bum and a small waist."

Cinderella opens on March 27 and features an al star cast including Richard Madden, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Hayley Atwell, Stellan Skarsgård, Holliday Grainger and Derek Jacobi.
