Cohen sued over Bruno interview
Sacha Baron Cohen is facing a £70 million lawsuit over an interview he claimed was with a terrorist in his controversial movie Bruno.
Ayman Abu Aita is described in the movie as 'Terrorist group leader, Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade' - with Cohen telling interviewers during the promotion of the film that he met him through a contact in the CIA.
However, Abu Aita insists he is no terrorist and was tricked into the meeting with Cohen, believing the actor was a German filmmaker working on a documentary about Palestine.
Abu Aita has filed a law suit against the actor and Universal Studios - alleging that the film has ruined his life and that he has received death threats.
It's yet more legal trouble for the funnyman - with both his Bruno and Borat movies being plagued by lawsuits.
