Community favourite Donald Glover cast in undisclosed role on Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Homecoming alongside Tom Holland
Fan favourite Community Actor Donald Glover has reportedly landed a role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the forthcoming Marvel and Sony co-production!
Deadline report that whilst it is not clear who Glover will be playing in the superhero flick, his casting will no doubt please fans who have long pitched him as a potential big-screen Spider-Man.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming hits Cinemas on July 7 2017 and will see Tom Holland reprise his Captain America: Civil War role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man.
Glover who also has a major hip-hop career as Childish Gambino, joins the confirmed cast of Zendaya, Kenneth Choi and Tony Revolori in the high school-set Marvel adventure.
Robert Downey Jr. is set to reprise his role of Avengers leader Tony Stark aka Iron Man and will see Michael Keaton debut in the MCU as the villain of the story, believed to be The Vulture.
Glover, is no stranger to the Spider-Man universe, he lent his voice to Miles Morales, an alternate version of the wall-crawler in the popular Disney XD animated series Ultimate Spider-Man.
