Conan the Barbarian babe Rachel Nichols departs Criminal Minds
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra babe Rachel Nichols who was a new series regular on Criminal Minds has officially left the CBS hit series.
Nichols played Ashley Seaver on the series for the last year, and while she is departing from the series, Paget Brewster who plays Emily Prentiss on the show will continue on.
While this could be seen as a blow for Nichols, it will free her up for more film roles, the latest for her will be the Jason Momoa starring 3D extravaganza Conan the Barbarian as Tamara. The Marcus Nispel directed film comes to cinemas on August 26 and is the tale of Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.
The fantasy auctioneer also stars Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, Rachel Nichols, Rose McGowan and Saïd Taghmaoui.
