Creepy Carrie – First Look at Chloe Grace Moretz in New Trailer

16 October 2012

Based on Stephen King's best-selling novel, the eagerly-awaited Carrie "remake" of the 1976 film looks to be just as dramatic as its predecessor.

With some interesting dialogue, it's apparent this may be a different take on the material to the original film rather than a direct "remake"?

The accompanying website is also titled www.WHAT HAPPENED TO CARRIE.com - although we don't see much in this teaser trailer it's clear that Chloe is perfect as Carrie and we are deadly bloody excited to see this girl in action.

'This was always such a peaceful town... ' asks one.

'I don't want to use the word conspiracy but that's what it's looking like,' says another.

One character gets closer to the truth, saying: 'There's something supernatural happening here, it defies logic and explanation.'

As the camera continues to swirl over the fiery landscape, another unseen voice says: 'There's something no one seems to understand... She wasn't some monster - she was just a girl.'

We then finally get our first glimpse of a bloodied Carrie, who stares directly at the camera in the menacingly iconic image from 1976.

Describing the film as 'beautiful and terrifying and entrancing', Chloë has promised fans that the film offers quite the experience for viewers.

'When you watch it, you go on a trip,' she explained.

'You come in one person, and you come out another.'

Let's hope it lives up to the hype better than so many other remakes have over the years!
