In CONTROL, British Home Secretary Stella Simmons drives home one night while engaging in an affair with the Prime Minister. A mysterious man remotely hijacks her self-driving car, forcing her on a rampage through London.

In a statement, Lauren Metcalfe, who portrays Stella as well as serving as Producer on CONTROL said "Working with Kevin Spacey has been the number one highlight of my career so far. Meeting him for the first time in Mayfair was a daunting prospect to say the least, and even though at the time he was under tremendous amounts of pressure, like a true professional, he put his private life aside and focused on the job at hand. He put everyone at ease with jokes and a calming persona meaning we were all able to get to know each other as a team.
Working with Kevin was awe-inspiring to say the least, to work opposite him, actor to actor, is something I will forever cherish, not just because he’s Kevin Spacey but because egos were left at the door and we were just two actors working the script together, bringing the best out in each other, and THAT is something I am extremely proud of.
I am under no illusion that this has been a controversial time, and casting him was something that was carefully considered between us, but ultimately we wanted to work with Kevin for his 40 years of experience and talent, not for his private life. To work with one of the acting greats is something one can only aspire to do, for me it was a dream come true, one which I shall never forget & I am thrilled for him that his career can now start to get back on track & the screen will be better for it."
