Dakota Johnson suffered from Whiplash filming Fifty Shades of Grey
Fifty Shades of Grey is currently in cinemas and Dakota Johnson who stars as Anastasia Steele has revealed that she suffered whiplash during filming in the sex dungeon known as the Red Room of Pain with Jamie Dornan.
Speaking to Yahoo! the Need for Speed actress explained "Jamie was throwing me on a bed. We did 17 takes, so my head just snapped back all day and when I woke up I couldn't move my neck. [It] was really terrible."
Dornan added "I don't think I injured myself ever, but I think Dakota came out a little bit worse! I think she has been vocal about how she was bruised up after a couple of days when stuff got a little bit real in the Red Room."
Fifty Shades Of Grey features Jennifer Ehle, Max Martini, Marcia Gay Harden and Rita Ora, and the premiere of the film based on the best-selling book was faced with a domestic violence protest group in London's Leicester Square asserting that the film glamourises abusive relationships, something that Johnson has denied.
Johnson returns to cinemas in Scott Cooper’s Black Mass later this year alongside Sienna Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch.
