Dame Helen Mirren makes her permanent mark in Hollywood
Helen Mirren put her best foot forward at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in LA today, to make her mark on Hollywood forever. The British star was accompanied by her Arthur co star Russell Brand, who gave a speech before the cement marking.
Helen looked very proper in a dark blue dress and belt, and even kept her silver heels and tights on for her footprint mark, as well as leaving her signature, and the date, joining hundreds of other stars such as Julie Andrews, Frank Sinatra and more recently the likes of Cher and Brad Pitt who have left their mark at the famous theatre.
The 65 year old has indeed earned her place in the hand print hall of fame which will be installed in the grounds of the theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, as she received an Academy Award for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in 2006 for The Queen, as well as being made a Dame in 2003.
Helen's acting talents can next be seen in Arthur alongside the cheeky Russell Brand, out in UK cinema's on the 22nd of April 2011. Also check out the video below of Russell Brand introducing Helen Mirren at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
