Daredevil’s Steven S. DeKnight set to make Directorial Debut with eagerly awaited PACIFIC RIM 2

Pacific Rim fans can rejoice with word that Daredevil writer Steven S DeKnight has landed the coveted Director’s Chair for the eagerly awaited sequel Pacific Rim 2 which is expected to be released next year.

Deadline report that Pacific Rim 2 will mark DeKnight’s Directorial Debut taking over from visionary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro.

DeKnight’s credits include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Smallville and the Starz series Spartacus.

Pacific Rim performed well at the box office, earning $411 million worldwide and starred dris Elba and Charlie Hunnam and charts mankind’s battle with monstrous Kaiju.

PACIFIC RIM 2 IS EXPECTED TO BE RELEASED ON AUGUST 4 2017
