Dark Knight won’t be completely shot in IMAX

14 November 2010

Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Rising is on the way but according to Total Film "they won't shoot the entire film in IMAX, citing cost and the inability to capture sound as just two of the impediments."

The Wrap go on to state that Cinematographer Wally Pfister Pfister isn't actually officially signed up to lens the next Batman film, but we'd be extremely shocked (and disappointed) if Nolan opted to hire a different cinematographer.

Thankfully, Pfister still claims that they will shoot select sequences of the movie using IMAX cameras, which is great news for anyone who was lucky enough to catch TDK in IMAX.
