Dawn Breaks on Bill Condon
We recently reported that Bill Condon, Sofia Coppola and Gus Van Sant were on the shortlist for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, the final installment to the hugely successful teen-vampire story, for those that have no idea what Twilight is (shame on you!) it is the story of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) a mortal girl, who falls in love with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) a vampire, the story charts their love as they take on the challenges that comes with their forbidden love.
Bill Condon, who directed Dreamgirls starring Beyoncé and Jamie Foxx is said to be the frontrunner for Summit Entertainment, in bringing Breaking Dawn to the big screen, the novel is 756pages long so the idea is for the story to be split in two, with the first half focusing on Bella's pregnancy and marriage and the second part dealing with her transition from mortal to vampire.
The Twilight Sage: Eclipse the third film in the franchise is released in UK cinemas this July.
