DC TV Universe’s Greg Berlanti set to Direct the Forthcoming Incarnation of Horror Musical Little Shop of Horrors

Whilst he absolutely killing it with TV favourites Arrow, Supergirl, Blindspot, The Flash, Legends Of Tomorrow and the upcoming Riverdale, it has been announced that Greg Berlanti is set to direct the forthcoming incarnation of Little Shop of Horrors!
Deadline report that the new version of the classic musical based on the tale of a lonely florist who comes across a plant that, due to an eclipse, now requires a steady supply of human flesh.
Berlanti’s take will be the third to grace the big screen, following Roger Corman's low-budget original in 1960 and Frank Oz's 1986 musical horror-comedy starring Ellen Greene as Audrey and Rick Moranis as Seymour.
Little Shop of Horrors also had a short-lived animated series based on the property was also released in the early '90s, while just last year, Jake Gyllenhaal joined Ellen Greene who reprised her role of Audrey after almost 20 years!
