Dwayne Johnson set to team with McG for The Fall Guy
While he's currently filming Brett Ratner's Hercules: The Thracian Wars, it has emerged that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will team with McG for the big screen adaptation of the Lee Majors classic TV show The Fall Guy.
The Wrap report that Hyde Park Entertainment and WWE Entertainment are financing the project and will see Ashok Amritrage produce alongside WWE’s Michael Luisi and Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, who own the rights to the show.
Director McG will also produce the film that will be based on the ABC show that ran from 1981 to 1986 and saw Majors as a stunt man who did bounty hunter work on the side, utilizing his Hollywood skills.
The Fall Guy has been considered for the big screen treatment with Warner Bros. and DreamWorks both considering projects in the past.
