UK’s first ever dynamic pop-country crossover male harmony band, Another State, are thrilled to announce the release of their latest single, “The Only One”. This captivating track, which beautifully blends the soulful storytelling of country music with the catchy hooks of pop, is set to resonate deeply with listeners around the world. The track will be released on 23rd August 2024.

Another State consists of four talented vocalists: Sean Ryder Wolf, Paul McDowell, James Gibson, and Dave Staton. Known for their unique sound that bridges the gap between pop and country, the band have quickly gained a dedicated following. Their music is inspired by the likes of Post Malone, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé, who have successfully blended genres to create something truly special. The band have a huge vault of original tracks which they all love, and they can’t wait to release them to their fans. Sean Ryder Wolf says “A lot of time has been spent in writing and producing all of them and we're very proud of the material that we have and can't wait to get all the tracks out there!”

“The Only One” is the follow up to their debut single "All You Need" and is a track that speaks to the heart and soul of what it means to find ‘The One’. It’s about that magical moment when you realise you’ve found someone who truly understands and completes you. The sentiment shines through the lyrics and the melody and has universal appeal to those of us who are in love. Sean Ryder Wolf explains his heartfelt inspiration in co-writing the track “I'm in a relationship and also have children, and that feeling of feeling complete and having love and deep admiration for my partner was at the crux of why ' The Only One' started taking shape.”

“The Only One” will be made available on all major streaming platforms. Fans can also look forward to an accompanying music video, set to be released later this month, which promises to bring the song’s beautifully romantic narrative to life.

Sean Ryder Wolf

Before being in Jack Pack, Sean was a professional model and actor for over 10 years. Highlights include campaigns for Lee Cooper Jeans and Ted Baker. He has performed for King Charles lll at Kensington Palace, appeared at The Royal Albert Hall and Proms in the Park and has also supported The Jacksons at the London Palladium. He has also appeared on many prime-time TV shows. Sean founded Another State believing that, by pooling the bands collective wealth of experience, they could create something very special together.

Paul McDowell is a highly experienced singer performing all over the world. He has been in shows such as Legally Blonde and Burn the Floor. He has performed for Theresa May and supported Take That.

James Gibson graduated from The Royal Academy of Music, performed for Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Albert Hall and has performed in many productions over his career all over the world with his career spanning over two decades.

Dave Staton (professional actor name Dave Perkins) was an actor prior to Another State. He was cast as a main role in the BBC drama ‘The Gallows Pole’ directed by prestigious director Shane Meadows. Dave was picked out of over 6,000 applicants in an open audition to secure his role in the series.
