Easy Rider icon Peter Fonda discovers dead body

Hollywood legend Peter Fonda had quite the eventful afternoon in Los Angeles today. The Oscar nominated Easy Rider icon who is the son of Henry, father of Bridget and brother of Jane played the role of Good Samaritan after he spotted what turned out to be a dead body in a parked car on Sunset Boulevard and immediately called 911.

Sgt. Carlton Cook at the West L.A. Community Police Station confirmed that Fonda was the one who made the call at around 2 p.m. he also confirmed that Fonda was not a suspect as the police begin their investigation.

Fonda was last seen in the Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus direct to DVD movie The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, he is currently working on East Fifth Bliss.

Written and directed by Michael Knowles the dramady also stars Michael C. Hall in a story about a guy in his mid-thirties who watches as his life comically unravels after he enters into a relationship with the daughter of a former high school classmate.
