Eleanor Tomlinson nabs lead role of Princess Isabella in Jack the Giant Killer
English rose Eleanor Tomlinson best known for her roles of Jas in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and Fiona Cattaway in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland has nabbed the role of Princess Isabella in Bryan Singer's Jack the Giant Killer beating out Adelaide Kane.
Tomlinson will play Princess Isabella in a film that will see the princess a feisty hothead who runs away from her kingdom but spoils the effect by getting kidnapped by giants. Luckily she's already turned farmboy Jack's head, leading him to mount a daring rescue mission.
The film goes before the cameras in London on March 14th and stars an all star cast including X-Men: First Class rising star Nicholas Hoult as Jack himself and screen legends Bill Nighy, Ewan McGregor and Stanley Tucci.
This marks the first lead role for the gorgeous Tomlinson, who has starred in The Illusionist as the younger Jessica Biel and she appeared in a couple of episodes of TV favourite The Sarah Jane Adventures.
