Elizabeth Banks reveals The Hunger Games shoot was difficult

With the release of the eagerly awaited The Hunger Games just over a month away, gorgeous Scrubs alumni Elizabeth Banks has opened up about the shoot, describing it as "difficult".

Banks who is known for such films as Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Slither and the Spider-Man trilogy plays Effie Trinket and tells MTV that temperatures on the set often soared above 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celcius) saying "It was difficult to shoot under insane conditions, about 105 degrees.

We had all these young kids there dropping like flies, it was madness."

Banks can currently be seen in Asger Leth's Man on a Ledge with Sam Worthington and following Gary Ross' The Hunger Games she'll be seen aa an expectant mum in What to Expect When You're Expecting on May 23.
