Emma Stone wanted for The Gangster Squad
Emma Stone who is currently filming The Amazing Spider-man reboot with Andrew Garfield and director Marc Webb, could be set to reunite with her Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer for The Gangster Squad.
Variety report that Stone is attached to the role of the sharp-tongued Jean who is caught in a love triangle with Ryan Gosling's squad leader Jerry Wooters and mobster/gambler Mickey Cohen.
The Gangster Squad features a stellar cast that includes Josh Brolin, Giovanni Ribisi, Anthony Mackey and Michael Pena and is the story of the exploits of an LAPD tasked with keeping the stets of Los Angeles clean during the rise of gang warfare in the 1940's.
Shooting is set to begin in September and the final film should hit cinemas next year.
As for Stone she will be seen in Friends with Benefits on September 9, Crazy, Stupid, Love with Ryan Gosling on September 23 and The Help on October 28.
