Emma Watson to team with Logan Lerman
Harry Potter star Emma Watson is reportedly in talks to star alongside Logan Lerman in an indie film based on an epistolary novel.
As "Harry Potter" film franchise is going to end with 'Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows', Emma Watson has begun looking for her new starring roles, the British star is now circling 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower'. She will possibly team up with Logan Lerman as he is reportedly also in talks to take a lead role in this upcoming coming of age drama, but the characters that might be tackled by the two are not yet known.
Emma Watson is widely known for her portrayal of Hermione Granger in "Harry Potter" film series. The 20-year-old girl who is currently a student at Brown University in Rhode Island appeared in 2007 TV movie "Ballet Shoes" and provided a voice in 2008 animation "The Tale of Despereaux".
Stephen Chbosky, who wrote the original novel in 1999 and has adapted the script. He’ll make his directing debut with the film, which John Malkovich’s Mr Mudd company is producing.
We’re wondering if the cinematic version will hit the same troubles as the tome, which has caused controversy with some parents thanks to frank treatment of drugs, sex and suicide.
