First Look at Henry Cavill as Superman in Man of Steel
We wanted it and it looks like we have it! Empire have released the first look of Henry Cavill in full costume in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel.
From the looks of the photo, the primary colours of the iconic suit have been toned down, but it still shows the immense strength that Superman possesses by showing him with a crumpled vault door.
The reboot also stars Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Ma and Pa Kent, Amy Adams as journalist and love interest Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as the villainous General Zod, Russell Crowe and Julia Ormond as Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix as General Swanwick and the newly confirmed Laurence Fishburne as Perry White.
The finished film hits cinemas in Summer 2013, written by David S. Goyer and Christopher Nolan after successfully bringing back Batman is on hand to produce.
