First Look From British Chiller The Last Showing, Starring Robert Englund, Finn Jones, Emily Berrington And Keith Allen

The Fan Carpet are pleased to share with you the first look images from the latest film by award winning writer/director Phil Hawkins, THE LAST SHOWING, where cult horror star Robert Englund (Nightmare On Elm Street) joins forces with rising stars Finn Jones (Game of Thrones) and Emily Berrington (The White Queen) for a tense psychological chiller. 

When a young couple, Martin (Finn Jones) and Allie (Emily Berrington), have a night out at their local cinema, they become unwitting stars of their own horror story at the hands of Stuart (Robert Englund), a disturbed projectionist.  Trapping them in the cinema complex, Stuart uses hidden cameras to play his two victims off against one another, directing them to a finale where there can only be one survivor.

Also starring Keith Allen (Vinyl, Shallow Grave) and Malachi Kirby (Gone Too Far), The Last Showing will release in 2014.

The Last Showing is from an original script by Phil Hawkins and produced for The Philm Company by Alex Baranska.

The Philm Company was established in 2006 by Phil Hawkins to produce strong, character led stories that give a fresh take on commercial genres. Their third feature, the comedy Being Sold, won Best Actor and Best Film at The 2011 London Independent Film Awards and to date they have raised the maximum equity through the SEIS scheme to create a development fund for their production slate, that includes Baptism, based on the novel by Max Kinnings, and Killing the Shadows, an adaptation of Val McDermid’s novel of the same name.
