Feature film One Thousand Flames start filming late March

Acclaimed Director Marc Zammit is set to start filming his second feature film ONE THOUSAND FLAMES a music/drama with his production company Skylark Vision, and serve as Producer.

Zammit has decided to step down from acting in this feature unlike in his debut film Homeless Ashes where he was in front and behind the camera so he can focus more of his skills behind the camera.

Zammit has teamed up with Craig Hinde to Produce te film and Executive Producers of One Thousand Flames will be Ruth DesRoches and Dean Parkes, whom are excited about Marc Zammit's talents and believes he is a film maker to watch out for.

Marc Zammit released his award winning film Homeless Ashes to critial acclaim, which can currently be seen at Everyman Cinemas across the country.

Composer Benjamin Symons has been recording the music of ONE THOUSAND FLAMES with Marc and Craig preparing for filming in late March.

 

 

Director statement “I really want people to relate to this film in their own ways, we always think we know where life is taking us and when certain things happen down the line it all makes sense why it happened.

I feel inspired by all the music dramas that are being made at the moment from extremely talented directors and film makers, yesterday, wildrose, star is born, and hope this can be one of many independent films bringing a music drama to the film scene.”

About ONE THOUSAND FLAMES
The film is about a talented singer/ songwriter Grant played by (Stuart Murray Wolfe), who is in a rock band "Half Cut Vultures" with Sophie (Syama Rayner), Matt (Jack Parr), Jezza (Louis Barnard) The band land their big break getting taken on by agent Devlin played by (Scott Kyle Outlander).

Grant ends up in a serious car accident leaving him disabled, partially blind and half burnt across his face and body, leaving him seriously injured, while his band continue without him, Grant ends up meeting fellow hospital friend Mia (Mims Burton), an aspiring singer who befriends Grant and encourages him to play again and for them to make music together.

While Grant has lost everything and the only people he has is Mia and Dr Madison (Maria Howell) it becomes clear success is not always what it seems and what does the future hold for Grant?
