From THE CROWN To BRIDGERTON: Iconic Scenes From 8 Netflix Shows Recreated As LEGO Miniatures To Tell The Stories

17 May 2021

Brickfilms, or films made using LEGO, began in the 1970s when fanatics used the miniature bricks to tell short stories.

LEGO itself joined in on the action in the 2000s and since then there have been box office successes, numerous TV shows and big name joint-ventures, such as The LEGO Batman Movie.

But what if Netflix had capitalized on LEGO’s success and asked them to produce some of it’s biggest hits?

TheToyZone used the latest tiny brick technology to recreate iconic scenes from 8 popular Netflix Original shows in LEGO form, and then even calculated the cost of the bricks to do so.

Here’s what The Crown and Olivia Colman would look like in brick form:

And if you’re wanting to recreate this yourself you’ll need 2,921 LEGO bricks and around $980 to do so.

The team used specialized software with a complete library of LEGO bricks and effects to render the 3D recreations, incorporating rare pieces and then estimated a retail value.

For instance it would cost you a whopping $465 to recreate this famous Bridgerton scene:

Other shows included in the project are: The Queen’s Gambit, The Crown, Tiger King, The Witcher, Russian Doll, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina & Cobra Kai.
