Garrett Hedlund excited to return to The Grid for TRON sequel
With the rash of Disney properties coming to cinemas in the coming years, it has emerged that a trip back to The Grid is on the cards, and what's more Tron: Legacy hero Garrett Hedlund has confirmed his participation in the third outing.
While the plot of Tron 3 is being kept under wraps, it was revealed last week that Jesse Wigutow who worked on Eragon and the upcoming remake of The Crow has been hired to write a new version of the film.
Hedlund who was last seen alongside offscreen girlfriend Kirsten Dunst in On the Road told NextMovie "Disney's very excited, that's about that. You know, yeah, I'm very excited, Disney's very excited."
Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski is attached to return, so that just leaves Olivia Wilde (and possibly Jeff Bridges) then the band is back together!
Hedlund currently has Andrew Levitas's drama Lullaby and the Coen brothers's Inside Llewyn Davis in post production.
