GLOBAL FIRST – DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR: Cineworld Celebrates GREMLINS 35th Anniversary With 4DX Experiences

03 December 2019

From 6 December, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the classic 80s film Gremlins, Cineworld is taking Brits back to the snow-covered scenes of Kingston Falls, with exclusive screenings of Gizmo and the gang in 4DX, for the first time ever.

With the golden Gremlin rules advising you to keep them away from bright lights and water at all costs, you’ll have to be feeling brave to experience the Gremlins in 4DX. With stimulating effects like motion, water, wind, scent and strobe lighting timed with precision to enhance what’s happening on screen, combined with high-tech motion programming to move your seat in perfect synchronicity, the Mogwai will cause more terror than ever before.

You can book tickets here for a selection of 4DX screenings available between Friday 6th December and Tuesday 10th December.

Gremlins is the latest classic film to be released in 4DX for the first time ever, as part of Cineworld’s highly anticipated “Never Been Seen” programme. But, if you can’t make it to Gremlins in 4DX, there are still plenty of epic films releasing in 4DX extreme cinema over the Christmas season, including:

- Frozen 2 (now showing)

- Charlie’s Angels (now showing)

- Jumanji: The Next Level (11 December)

- Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (19 December)

Screening details

All 4DX cinemas playing 6.00pm & 8.30pm shows on Fri 6th, Mon 9th & Tue 10th Dec.
