Gone Girl Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike teams with Joel Kinnaman for Jean Luc Herbulot
Gone Girl Oscar nominated actress Rosamund Pike will star alongside The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman for Jean Luc Herbulot’s deep sea adventure The Bends.
Produced by Anova Pictures, The Hollywood Reporter report that The Bends is the story of a diving expedition that uncovers a mystery on the sea floor.
The expedition serves to bring up old problems for an ex-marine working to pay off mob debts.
Pike was recently honoured at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards, garnering the Best Actress of the Year for her aforementioned Oscar nominated performance in David Fincher’s Gone Girl.
The sought after British actress will soon be seen in romantic thriller Return to Sender from Fouad Mikati and is gearing up for Hany Abu-Assad’s survival drama The Mountain Between Us.
She will also provide the voice to Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward in ITV’s Thunderbirds Are Go!
Kinnaman returns to cinemas alongside Tom Hardy and Gary Oldman in Daniel Espinosa’s Child 44 on April 17 and Liam Neeson and Genesis Rodriguez in Jaume Collet-Serra’s Run All Night on May 1.
