Hasbro CEO talking to Michael Bay for Transformers 4

It would seem that the reports of Michael Bay not returning for a fourth instalment in the hugely successful Transformers franchise may be short lived.

Brian Goldner CEO of Hasbro has said that the toy giant is in active discussions with studio partner Paramount about a Transformers 4 and to directors Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg about returning to the franchise.

Whether that means that franchise star Shia LaBeouf will do a U-turn is anyones guess after telling MTV “I’m not coming back to do another one. I don’t think Mike will either.”

Bay has gone back on his word before; everyone remembers him slagging off 3D as well as stating that he wouldn't do Transformers 3.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon opened to astonishing results at the world wide box office een with some scathing reviews that it received, so it's no surprise that Hasbro would want Michael Bay back at the helm.
