Haywire bad-ass Gina Carano knocked out by Michael Fassbender
Haywire is out now and action heroine Gina Carano has revealed that she was accidentally knocked unconscious by Michael Fassbender during a fight scene.
The former MMA fighter who plays covert operative Mallory Kane in Steven Soderbergh's high octane thriller recalls a scene where she goes toe to toe with Fassbender and tells People "I got to be physical with some of the hottest guys in Hollywood," she gushed to People. "When Fassbender slammed my head into the wall, that's the only time I went black.
And then I slammed a vase right into his face when he wasn't expecting it. He didn't get cut, maybe a little bit."
She adds that she wouldn't do battle with her co-star Channing Tatum because "He is like a bro.
I'd probably want to choke him out real quick," she said. "Because he's actually very athletic."
Haywire is out now and features an amazing cast of Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Michael Angarano, Bill Paxton and Mathieu Kassovitz.
Carano is rumoured to appear in the sequel to Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief entitled Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters alongside Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario.
