Hereford Films unveil the Debut Trailer for Sacha Bennett Gritty Crime Thriller WE STILL STEAL THE OLD WAY

14 October 2016

The trailer has now been released for Hereford Films' upcoming crime film WE STILL STEAL THE OLD WAY, the sequel to the 2014 cult hit We Still Kill the Old Way.

Set for release in early 2017 from Platform Entertainment, WE STILL STEAL THE OLD WAY reunites the original film's band of loveable rogues, as Ian Ogilvy (Return of the Saint), Chris Ellison (The Bill) and Tony Denham (Vendetta) find themselves behind bars on their most daring job yet. New additions to the all-star cast include Billy Murray (the Call of Duty video game franchise), Patrick Bergin (Sleeping with the Enemy), Julian Glover (Game of Thrones, The Empire Strikes Back) and Vas Blackwood (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels).

Regarded as the best in the business, the Archer Gang - an ageing criminal outfit - carries out a daring robbery, only to be caught in the midst of their heist. Sentenced to hard time in Britain's toughest prison, they encounter a nemesis from their past intent on settling an old score.

Producer Jonathan Sothcott commented, "It would be crazy not to reunite the Archer Gang after the huge success of the first movie and it was great to get Ogilvy, Ellison and Denham back together - their banter on screen is a joy to behold. What makes this sequel really special though is the addition of Billy Murray as the villain. He's utterly, magnificently evil in the movie - he really is a brilliant villain and it's great to have such a fine actor back on screen".

From a script by Simon Cluett, WE STILL STEAL THE OLD WAY sees Sacha Bennett back in the director's chair.

Hereford Films’ recent productions also include Bonded by Blood 2. The company is currently developing a new series of Carry On comedy movies.
