Hollywood legend Michael Douglas beats Cancer
Hollywood legend Michael Douglas can breathe a sigh of relief he has beaten Cancer. In an interview with People magazine, the two time Oscar winner said "I feel good, relieved, the tumor is gone. But, you know, I have to check out on a monthly basis now to maintain."
The Wall Street legend goes onto say he'll continue to monitor his health and "take a couple of months of getting checked out. But it's been a wild six-month ride."
Speaking about his recovery, the actor says his appetite is back and he's slowly gaining the weight he lost during his illness, he gushed over the support he has received from family and friends adding "All of a sudden the affection from my family, from my friends, and from my fans hit me at a much deeper level than I would have ever imagined before, and it gave me a really new appreciation of just how valuable, how precious good friends are and family."
Douglas will next be seen in Haywire from director Steven Soderbergh, the film sees its release in April in the States and is the story of a black ops super soldier who seeks payback after she is betrayed and set up during a mission. The film also stars the multi talented Michael Fassbender and Ewan McGregor and The Eagle hunk Channing Tatum.
