Hugh Jackman says third Wolverine film will focus on the Father/ Son relationship between Logan and Professor X

25 September 2015

With a third entry in the fan favourite Wolverine franchise coming to Cinemas, reuniting Hugh Jackman with his The Wolverine Director James Mangold, the sought after Actor has revealed that the latest film will focus on the father/son-like relationship with Professor X.

Talking to Collider, Jackman who will soon return to Cinemas as Blackbeard in Pan said "Patrick does figure in it, that's for sure, I think it's a really important relationship but I want to see signs of that quasi-father/son sort of relationship that has not been seen before, and sides of particularly Professor X that have not been seen before.
So we have some really, really cool ideas."

Written by Michael Green, the currently untitled third Wolverine film is set for release on March 2 2017 and Jackman previously revealed that Logan could appear as an old man in his last outing as Wolverine.
