Ian McShane is dwarf leader Caesar in Snow White and the Huntsman
He was last seen as the villainous pirate Blackbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, now it is reported that Ian McShane will play the role of Caesar the leader of the dwarfs in the upcoming Snow White And The Huntsman.
Robert Sanders is on directing duties for this one that will see Twilight babe Kristen Stewart as the titular heroine with Thor's Chris Hemsworth playing the titular Huntsman and Charlize Theron playing the jealous Evil Queen.
Written by Hossein Amini, Evan Daugherty and Evan Spiliotopoulos Snow White and the Huntsman is a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman (Hemsworth) ordered to take Snow White (Stewart) into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen (Theron).
It'll be a Pirates reunion as Sam Claflin who appeared with Mcshane on the high seas is set to play Prince Charmant. Sanders plans to get it in front of the cameras in August for a 2012 release, when it'll go up against Tarsem Singh's Snow White.
