IMAX Unveils EXCLUSIVE Brand Artwork For Denis Villeneuve’s DUNE Ahead Of Release In IMAX Cinemas This October
IMAX has debuted new artwork inspired by the scope and scale of DUNE in advance of its release this October; this artwork has debuted via the @IMAX social channels.
The original artwork celebrates the highly anticipated upcoming release of Denis Villeneuve's DUNE which will be released in IMAX cinemas on 21st October. This exclusive art will be utilised in specialty placements across IMAX's 1600+ cinema network. View the official IMAX trailer below.
The IMAX release of Dune will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.

About DUNE in IMAX
Director Denis Villeneuve filmed DUNE for IMAX with IMAX certified digital cameras. Among the highest quality cameras in the world, these sequences are captured with unparalleled clarity, colour and truly optimised for IMAX cinemas. DUNE will have an IMAX-exclusive 1.90:1 aspect ratio, available only in IMAX cinemas. By being specially shot and formatted for IMAX, moviegoers will experience up to 26% more picture for the film. In select locations worldwide, DUNE will have an IMAX-exclusive 1.43 aspect ratio, with up to 40% more picture for the film and ultimately showing more of the stunning imagery as conceived by Director Denis Villeneuve.
