In Cinemas for One Night Only Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage March 19

26 February 2015

Drake, the Grammy® Award-winning, platinum-selling recording artist and multi-faceted entertainer, comes to big screens in the UK on March 19th for DRAKE’S HOMECOMING: THE LOST FOOTAGE, a global, cinematic one-night event.

Previously believed lost and destroyed, the footage for DRAKE’S HOMECOMING, THE LOST FOOTAGE was shot during a live, sold-out concert at the Sound Academy in Drake’s hometown of Toronto in 2009. Following its recent rediscovery, additional footage was added to the film, including interviews with Rap-a-Lot Records CEO James Prince and his son Jas Prince, credited with the discovery of Drake. The soundtrack includes the international hits, “Best I Ever Had” and “Successful”.

The feature’s unreleased footage shows Drake at a breakthrough moment in his music career. US cinema event distributor, SpectiCast, is bringing the cinema event to 90 cities in the UK and Ireland, as part of the international release.

SpectiCast co-founder and president Mark Rupp said, “SpectiCast is proud to be the worldwide distributer of this film.  Drake is an international superstar and we are excited to showcase him at the start of his mammoth career. This rare footage is a must-see for every Drake fan across the globe.”
