Indiecan Entertainment And DiggerFilms Unveil The Official Trailer And Poster For Evil Dead Documentary HAIL TO THE DEADITES
After winning a Bronze Audience Award at the Fantasia Film Festival, the Evil Dead documentary HAIL TO THE DEADITES has just released its official trailer (edited by Jon Kondelik, co-owner of Dual Visions) and a brand new festival poster (design by Filip Ivanovic).

Through interviews with the cast, crew, collectors, fans, freaks and geeks, HAIL TO THE DEADITES seeks to illuminate the darkest reaches of the EVIL DEAD franchise’s undying and still-growing popularity, a popularity that has spawned four films, a TV series, comic books, figurines, and surpassed even its creator’s wildest dreams. HAIL TO THE DEADITES puts the spotlight on the fans that cultivated and spread this groovy pop-culture infection! It celebrates those who’ve celebrated the films!
Beside meeting with fans around the world, the 80 minutes documentary feature interviews with Evil Dead franchise cast members such as Bruce Campbell, Ted Raimi, Betsy Baker, Theresa Tilly, Ellen Sandweiss, Richard DeManincor, Tom Sullivan ,Dan Hicks ,Kassie Wesley DePaiva, Sarah Berry, Rick Domeier & Bill Moseley.
Last week, the film was acquired for Canadian distribution by Indiecan Entertainment, and the international sales bill be handled by Raven Banner Entertainment who currently feature the title at the Toronto International Film Festivals Market.

The film, which made its world premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival and its International premiere at FrightFest last month, is schedule to be screened at many festivals in October such as Sitges international fantastic film festival,, Ramaskrik Film Festival, Midwest Horrorfest, Nightmare Film Festival, and South African Horrorfest.
STEVE VILLENEUVE Bio - Steve began his involvement with horror in 2005 by producing and directing the anthological horror feature film Stories of a Gravedigger. Since he has entertained audiences with short films such as The Dead Pussy, The Mask of James Henry and A Quiet Moment. In 2010, his documentary Under the Scares was acquired by the Raven Banner Company and won Best Documentary at several festivals. Steve's latest project, Hail to the Deadites, a documentary about fans of the Evil Dead series is currently having its festival run. Steve is also very involved in the Quebec horror scene. From 2012 to 2016, he was the head of the horror section at the Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa Comiccon. Since then, he is the co-organizer of The Requiem Fear Fest, the only Quebec horror convention.
