Iron Man franchise babe Gwyneth Paltrow hasn’t had the call for Avengers: Age of Ultron

17 September 2013

Iron Man 3 star Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she hasn't been asked to reprise her role of Pepper Potts for Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Her character has been heavily involved in the Iron Man franchise and appeared in Avengers Assemble and when asked by HitFix if she would be reprising her role for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Paltrow replied "I don't think so, no one has asked me... What is it called?

Well, no, I don't think so. I haven't heard anything. My phone has not rung for Avengers 2."

Paltrow also reiterated that she would still be interested in a solo outing for Pepper Potts aka Rescue.

With a release set for May 1 2015, Avengers: Age of Ultron will begin filming in London early next year.

Paltrow returns to cinemas with Stuart Blumberg's Thanks for Sharing on October 4 alongside Tim Robbins.
