Is Andy Serkis the narrator of the Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens teaser?
On Friday, we reported on the release of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens teaser trailer, and like a lot of reports, we suggested that the mysterious voice narrating the trailer was the legendary Max von Sydow, however it looks like we thought wrong.
HitFix report that the narrator is none other than Caesar himself - Andy Serkis.
Adam Driver and Benedict Cumberbatch have also been linked with the role of narrator on the recent teaser, but HitFix writer Drew McWeeny wrote "For the record, that is Andy Serkis you hear in the trailer, I was able to verify this, although I was not able to uncover any further information about the role he plays. ?Here's what I do know, though. He's playing a pivotal role in the film, although he will not have a lot of screen time."
Could Serkis be playing a Force Sensitive Emperor-type character, pulling the strings from the shadows?? Who knows? Stay tuned to The Fan Carpet for more on Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens as it develops.
