Jake Gyllenhaal all smiles at Source Code premiere despite ex Reese Witherspoon’s wedding
While people have been talking about Ryan Phillipe and what he has been doing (not a lot) while Reese has been getting on with her life and getting married this weekend, there's one more recent ex that we've all forgotten might be hurting over Reese's recent nuptuals. Jake Gyllenhaal. The Source Code star dated the Alabama beauty for two years and split in 2009, due to the fact that Jake ironically wanted to settle down and get married, and Reese was fine with things as they were.
However Reese has obviously found the man she does want to marry, and we can't help thinking this must sting a bit for Jake. However, at the premier of his new film Source Code in LA last night, Gyllenhaal was all smiles and flirting with his co-star Michelle Monaghan, putting his arms tightly around her waist and flashing his trademark grin to paparazzi and fans alike.
However apparently at the after party at Boulevard 3 in Hollywodd, according to Celebuzz, the actor was all business and was seen mostly talking to studio types. A partygoer described him as;
''So nice, he talked to everybody who came up to him telling him congratulations, he was overheard saying he was really proud of this film in particular and was excited that it was being well received so far.”
We're glad Jake is one of those charming and mature celebs who can take it on the chin, and just focus on the positive, and with the rave reviews Source Code is getting, Jake has every reason to smile.
