Jason Statham addresses Transformers 4 rumour
British hard man Jason Statham has addressed his rumoured involvement in the fourth instalment of the hugely successful Transformers franchise.
Speaking to MTV, The Expendables action star said that rumours of his involvement sprung from online chatter saying "You know, I don't know how those things start. You read them. Someone told me about it. But the internet is a dangerous place. There's a lot of stuff out there."
However he won't distance himself from a possible role adding "I've got a lot of stuff in front of me, but Michael Bay is a talented man. This last one just made a billion dollars around the world, so people like his films. He's a talented man."
Even with Statham's involvement just rumour at this point, what is known is that Hasbro and Paramount have met with Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg to discuss the further adventures of Optimus Prime and co. with a forth and fifth outing shot back-to-back.
